THINK AORTA Global and THINK AORTA UK head to Milan for HTDI 2026, joining a European round table exploring opportunities to expand the THINK AORTA campaign across Europe.

THINK AORTA Global and THINK AORTA UK will be represented at HTDI 2026 in Milan, one of Europe’s major international meetings for aortic and vascular surgery.
Taking place from 16–18 December 2026 at the San Raffaele Congress Center, HTDI brings together an international faculty of leading clinicians to share knowledge, experience and advances in aortic and vascular care. Aortic Surgery
Rob Glass, Anne Cotton and Tony Webb will attend on behalf of THINK AORTA Global and THINK AORTA UK, following an invitation from Professor Germano Melissano, Professor of Vascular Surgery at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and a longstanding supporter of the THINK AORTA campaign.
Professor Melissano has played an important role in helping THINK AORTA build relationships internationally, contributing to the campaign’s expansion into several countries.
During the congress, the THINK AORTA team will take part in a special European round-table discussion, bringing together representatives from countries interested in adopting and developing the campaign. The meeting will provide an opportunity to share experiences from existing THINK AORTA partners and explore how the campaign can support improved recognition and diagnosis of aortic dissection across Europe.
THINK AORTA will also have an exhibition presence throughout the congress, providing an opportunity to meet clinicians and healthcare leaders from around the world and share the campaign’s educational resources and international experience.
The invitation represents another important opportunity to strengthen the growing THINK AORTA Global network and work towards a shared goal: improving recognition of aortic dissection and helping patients receive the right diagnosis and treatment without delay.
