Aortic Dissection Awareness UK & Ireland is delighted to extend an invitation to members of our community to attend a very special day hosted by our charity partner, Terumo Aortic.
Event Details
Terumo Aortic is one of the world's leading companies dedicated exclusively to the treatment of aortic disease. From their manufacturing facility near Glasgow, they design and manufacture many of the surgical grafts, stent grafts and hybrid devices used to treat aortic dissections and aneurysms, helping to save and improve lives around the world.
For many of our members, this is a unique opportunity to see first-hand where the life-saving devices inside them were designed and manufactured. You'll tour the factory, meet the engineers, designers and manufacturing teams behind these remarkable products, and discover the extraordinary care, precision and craftsmanship that goes into every device.
The day is equally special for Terumo Aortic colleagues and their families, who will have the opportunity to meet patients and families whose lives have been transformed by the devices they help create. It is a powerful reminder of the real people behind every product.
As well as factory tours, there will be opportunities to meet Terumo Aortic associates and their families, along with a range of family-friendly activities organised throughout the day including food, drink and fun for the kids.
We have been offered a small number of slots for our members to join what promises to be a memorable and inspiring day.
