Film Premiere: Pilgrim of the Tides
Premiere of a short documentary film about our very own kayaking hero Michael Lambert and his summer 2024 attempt to break the world record for kayaking 3,000 miles around the UK coastline in his THINK AORTA kayak.

This film is directed by Nigel Morgan and it follows Michael Lambert, a physiotherapist from Surrey, as he circumnavigates the UK in a kayak hoping to break the world record of 40 days. To do this, he must traverse the strongest currents in the world armed with just his kayak, his willpower and his physical strength.
Michael took on this challenge after his mother Caroline tragically and very suddenly passed away after suffering an aortic dissection. Michael's primary motivation was to raise awareness of THINK AORTA and funds for aortic dissection charities, including the national patient charity Aortic Dissection Awareness UK & Ireland.
The film follows his journey around the UK. As Michael navigates some of the the strongest tides in the world hoping to break the world record, he realises that surviving the waves is not his biggest challenge...
