Event Details
On Friday 10th November, one of our patient members, Anne Cotton, shared her extensive journey of a total aortic replacement, performed in three open aortic surgeries, with 1st-year students on the MSc. in Clinical Perfusion Science at the University of Bristol.
The students were spending a whole day learning about Aortic Dissection and had the benefit of hearing two patients share their stories: Anne Cotton from Warwick and Richard Bonella from Shrewsbury.
Our national patient charity is keen to support the education of Perfusionists, One of the first articles about aortic dissection that we published was this one in The Perfusionist magazine in 2018.
